Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 September 2026
1. Who this covers
These terms apply to advisory services provided by Simon Watson, trading as Revenue & Beyond ("Revenue & Beyond", "we"), based in London, UK, to a client engaging those services ("the Client", "you"). Contact: simon@revenueandbeyond.com.
2. How an engagement works
Each engagement begins with a proposal or engagement agreement setting out its own scope, deliverables, duration and fees. Scope is typically drawn from Revenue & Beyond's standard workstream areas, which may include positioning and narrative, meeting generation, sales coaching, and revenue operating systems, among others, and is agreed and prioritised with each client individually. These general terms apply to every engagement unless the signed proposal says otherwise.
3. Working arrangement
- Session cadence, format and any asynchronous support (for example by email, Slack, WhatsApp or shared documents) are set out in the proposal for each engagement.
- The Client is expected to provide relevant materials and timely feedback so the engagement can keep pace with the agreed working rhythm.
- Revenue & Beyond will supply the templates, documentation and guidance reasonably required to deliver the agreed work.
- Out of scope, unless a proposal explicitly says otherwise: acting as the Client's salesperson or revenue owner; running outbound campaigns or booking meetings on the Client's behalf; direct account management or pipeline administration; hands-on CRM administration beyond light advisory guidance; and legal, financial or technical implementation work.
- Revenue & Beyond does not provide legal, financial, or accounting advice, and will signpost an appropriate professional advisor where that's relevant.
4. Fees and payment
- Fees are as set out in the applicable proposal, quoted in GBP.
- Unless otherwise agreed, fees are invoiced monthly in advance and payable upon receipt; services commence on payment.
- VAT is applied in line with UK law and the Client's own location. Where a business client is based outside the UK, supplies may fall outside the scope of UK VAT under the general B2B place-of-supply rule, with the reverse charge applying in the Client's own jurisdiction; this is confirmed for each engagement individually.
- Fees cover Revenue & Beyond's time and advisory services only. Any third-party tools, platforms, or other external costs are the Client's responsibility.
5. Term and termination
Unless a proposal states otherwise, engagements run on a rolling monthly basis with no minimum term. Either party may terminate by giving 30 days' written notice. Fees already invoiced remain payable and non-refundable. Revenue & Beyond may terminate immediately if payment is not received within 14 days of the due date, or if the Client's conduct makes continuing the engagement unreasonable.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information, client data, pricing, or commercial strategy shared during an engagement, for 12 months after it ends. Neither party will disclose the terms of an engagement to a third party without the other's written consent, except where required by law.
7. Intellectual property
Materials, templates and frameworks provided or adapted by Revenue & Beyond during an engagement remain Revenue & Beyond's intellectual property, licensed to the Client for internal business use. Each party agrees to use the other's confidential information solely to perform the engagement.
8. Liability
Revenue & Beyond performs services with reasonable skill and care, and does not guarantee specific revenue or fundraising outcomes, which depend on factors outside its control including the Client's own execution. Revenue & Beyond's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with an engagement, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, will not exceed the total fees paid by the Client under that engagement, except in cases of fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Neither party is liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit claims arising from an engagement.
9. General
- Revenue & Beyond acts as an independent contractor. Nothing here creates an employment, partnership or agency relationship between the parties.
- These terms, together with the applicable signed proposal, form the entire agreement for an engagement and supersede prior discussions or representations relating to it.
- Amendments must be agreed in writing by both parties.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
- If any clause is found unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full force.
Changes to these terms
If these general terms change, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Changes here don't alter the terms of an engagement already confirmed in a signed proposal.
